ICoF/QSO Learning Exchange on Housing

Iowa's QSOs are invited to attend a Learning Exchange on Housing, hosted by the Iowa Council of Foundations, prior to the annual QSO/IRGC reception.

Housing “Learning Exchange” – 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Preliminary agenda:

  • 2:00 – (tentative) Ashely Jared, Iowa Finance Authority, Director of Comms
  • 2:30 – Round table conversations led by:
    • Rural Community Housing Initiative
    • Leslie Kilgannon, Quad Cities Housing Council
    • Mandy Mahncke, Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity
    • Cynthia Latcham, Anawim Housing
  • 3:00 – Rotate to different round table conversation
  • 3:30 – QSO examples and discussion: How we convene, galvanize, and leverage to benefit our communities
  • 4:30 – Adjourn

QSO/IRGC reception – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Hosted by Prairie Meadows, Dubuque Racing Association and Iowa West Racing Association. This has been a terrific opportunity for QSO staff and board to mix and mingle with each other and with IRGC staff and Commissioners. An event you don’t want to miss!
