Community foundations manage a variety of scholarships. Many are complex, small-dollar scholarship funds with specific selection criteria defined by donors. These funds usually require significant administrative support and many argue contribute very little to increasing local postsecondary degree attainment. As a field, how do we move away from these challenging scholarship funds and move towards more equitable scholarship practices to maximize impact for students? Join us to learn more about what two Iowa community foundations are doing to help students. We will explore options to make changes in your scholarship administration. There will also be time to meet your fellow scholarship managers throughout the state.
